Enhanced Series Satellite Service Plans
The Connexstar Enhanced Series Satellite Internet service plans from Spacenet are only available on the G-27 satellite. This satellite has excellent satellite internet coverage for Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, Honduras, Belize and other points further south.
The Connexstar Enhanced Series of services provides an always on, satellite Internet based IP network connection designed to support most industry standard web browsing and standard Internet Protocol ("IP") applications. Connexstars low contention ratio Enhanced Series has been optimized to support mission critical remote communications for broadband Internet access, voice and dedicated backhaul solutions. Both the EN-256 and EN-512 configuration of the Connexstar Enhanced Series supports optional toll-quality voice and fax services using analog to digital conversion and Voice Over Internet Protocol (“VoIP”) technologies. Connexstar Enhanced Series of services are available in two service configurations and will provide connectivity at the speeds and throughput specifications as defined in the table below.
This is a foot print image of the G-27 satellite, formerly known as IA-7 satellite and located at the 129 degree orbital slot. The Connexstar EN service is available anywhere within this footprint. The service requires a 1.2 meter antenna out to the 44 db line and a 1.8 meter antenna beyond that.
