.98 Meter Mobile Satellite Internet Tripod System

Expanded Coverage Baja Blaster Mobile Satellite internet tripod Kit
This kit is an upgraded package that will provide additional coverage in fringe areas of the satellites footprint as described below

Baja Blaster
Includes everything in the Mobility Kit but has a larger satellite dish and a heavy duty tripod. In summary it includes:

A .98 Meter Fiberglass Andrews Ku band TX/RX antenna (not a cheap stamped metal antenna)

If you order the Nova modem with the 1500 bandwidth/speed package from us you also get a super sensitive .5 or .6 NF LNB and a 2 watt TX.

A Larger Super Heavy Duty Aluminum CST Berger Tripod, 97" open, 60" collapsed.

Extra large HD Aircraft grade 2.88" aluminum offset adapter.

An inclinometer to set the LNB polarization accurately.

We can also upgrade this kit to a 1.2 meter antenna, please call for a custom quote on that.

BPPro

This is a foot print image of the G-27 satellite, formerly known as IA-7 satellite and located at the 129 degree orbital slot. The standard mobility kit will give you internet connectivity just about anywhere within the 46 and even out to the 44 db line although signal quality will be low and maintaining a solid connection may be difficult at that or near that line. The Baja Blaster mobile satellite internet tripod kit will take you out to the 42 db line and a 1.2 meter will pretty much keep you connected anywhere within the 40 db line.

You should take all of this with a grain of salt since the map is meant to give you a general idea. It reads just like a topo map especially where the lines are close together. At these points the cliff effect comes into play and the signal will drop off very rapidly.

As you approach the outer limits of your antennas performance in a particular location you will notice that at night you will stay connected fine but as soon as 10AM to about 6 PM roll around you will lose receive lock because the satellites signal will not be strong enough to over come the background solar noise.
