Starband Satellite Internet ServiceStarBand® Nova Sky Edge is two-way, always-on, high-speed Internet service via satellite delivered to homes, small offices, and mobile applications. Service is available virtually everywhere including the continental U.S., Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Canada, Mexico and points further south. Orbital Enterprises supports Starband satellite internet fixed placement units and Starband mobile satellite internet units and offers the same service plans for each application. The new Nova Sky Edge modem is the latest satellite modem from Gilat with a native 24VDC or 120VAC power input making it the perfect modem for remote off grid applications. It uses a maximum 2.8 amps @ 24VDC and a considerably smaller amount when idle and not transmitting. The Nova Sky Edge 1000 and Nova Sky Edge 1500 are based on a new generation of technology (the Gilat SkyEdge™ platform) and are being offered at our lowest price point ever! The Nova Sky Edge Equipment includes the standard hardware (.75 Meter Dish, a fixed trimast wall/roof mount or a non-penetrating mount, feed arm w/TX and LNB, and modem) There is a one time cost for equipment and a monthly recurring charge (MRC).
